Itinerary

Day 1

4/15 (Sun)

USA to Beijing

Leave San Francisco International Airport.

 

Day 2

4/16 (Mon)

Beijing to Qing Cheng Shan

Arrive in Beijing International Airport and continue to Chengdu. From Chengdu we will travel by bus to Qing Cheng Shan. We should arrive at the hotel between 11pm and 12am local time.

 

Day 3

4/17 (Tues)

Qing Cheng Shan

Morning: Training with Abbot Zhang. Consisting of discussions of:

  • Daoist cultivation principles;

  • Daoist history and philosophy;

  • Daoist lineage;

  • Daoist Immortals;

  • Daoist rituals;

  • Daoist talismans and mudras

Afternoon: Time to integrate. Take time to train, meditate, or just be with yourself. Walk the mountain, sit in a cave, commune with the forest, or just soak up the mountain's essence. (B.L.D.)

 

Day 4

4/18 (Wed)

Qing Cheng Shan

Morning: Training with Abbot Zhang. Consisting of discussions of:

  • Daoist cultivation principles;

  • Daoist history and philosophy;

  • Daoist lineage;

  • Daoist Immortals;

  • Daoist rituals;

  • Daoist talismans and mudras

Afternoon: Training will be in Chinese calligraphy with Li Shufa, an internationally sought master calligrapher. Also Taiji will be taught by Xiao Shifu, one of Qing Cheng Shan's preeminent martial masters.

Qing Cheng Shan

Morning: Taiji will be taught by Xiao Shifu, one of Qing Cheng Shan's preeminent martial masters

4/24 (Tues)

Qing Cheng Shan

We take a bus to Cheng Du, and then fly to Beijing. In the afternoon, you will have time to relax, sight see, or shop. (B.L.D.)

 

Day 11

4/25 (Wed)

Qing Cheng Shan to Beijing

Personal day in Beijing. Relax, sight see, or shop. We will provide suggestions as well as make any arrangements for your transportation, if you wish. More details on how this will work will be discussed there (B.D.)

 

Day 12

4/26 (Thur)

Beijing

Personal day in Beijing. Relax, sight see, or shop. We will provide suggestions as well as make any arrangements for your transportation, if you wish. More details on how this will work will be discussed there (B.D.)

 

Day 13

4/27 (Fri)

Beijing

Check out and depart for the US through San Francisco International Airport. (B.)
