angelicaThe MQM is a 1000 hour Program that builds on the foundation of the MQP and MQT programs.  Students delve into more advanced topics on energetic alchemy, energetic anatomy and physiology and gain a deeper understanding of integrating Medical Qigong practices within the context of Oncology.

Many students report that this Program is the favorite part of their training at the ICMQ due to the emphasis on self-cultivation. Quite a bit of time is spent discussing and working with spiritual disorders as well as other more advanced issues.

Exams within this program will include written, oral, and practical examinations plus skillset competencies.  There are also Additional Requirements for this program that are to be completed outside of class. This program is designed to be completed within one year.  Students who are unable to complete the requirements within the year of enrollment have an additional 12 months after their last Seminar to complete any program requirements. At the end of that time, students wishing to return for training or to submit Additional Requirements will need to file for an Extension or will consider to be withdrawn from the Program.

Prerequisites: Students must have successfully completed all required seminars in the Medical Qigong Practitioner (MQP) and Medical Qigong Therapist (MQT) programs prior to entering the MQM program.  Additional Requirements for those previous programs do not have to be completed at the time of enrollment, but students will have to obtain their Medical Qigong Therapist Certificate before they can apply for the Medical Qigong Master Certificate at the end of the Program.

Medical Qigong Programs

  • Medical Qigong Practitioner (MQP)

    The MQP Program is a 200 hour Certificate program. Students are first taught Medical Qigong exercises that are designed to heal the body, calm the mind, and connect with spirit. Students then go on to learn the foundational Medical Qigong qi emission protocols used to restore balance and remediate disharmony in clients. As the program progresses, students learn advanced theories of energy purgation, tonification, regulation and cultivation, as well as advanced theories and protocols. Read More

  • Medical Qigong Therapist (MQT)

    The Medical Qigong Therapist (MQT) is a 555 hour Certificate Program that continues on where the MQP training left off. Students continue to deepen their knowledge and expertise in Medical Qigong by learning advanced assessment skills, remote work, and working with Qi deviations. Time is spent studying specialty areas such as Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Neurology, Psychology. We begin the work of integrating Medical Qigong practices within the context of Oncology.   • DMQ Program

    The 2000 hour DMQ training, culminating in the DMQ certificate, ideally expresses the highest standard of medical qigong knowledge. Students will develop an advanced understanding of the body's energetic relationship to the physical structure, including mental and emotional disorders, as well as spiritual instigation's attributed to disease formation.
