Schedule Changes due to COVID-19

We have temporarily suspended all on site teaching due to the COVID-19 virus.  We are planning to resume teaching by the end of May.  All seminars have been rescheduled and pushed forward to allow students already enrolled in their programs to receive their training. Please take note of the new dates that are posted on the Calendar.

We have also scheduled a new P1 Seminar.  This seminar will occur in June and will immediately precede the P2 seminar, giving students a chance to receive 10 days of intensive training with no extra travel cost.

This extra seminar means there is still time for new students to enter the MQP program for 2020, or simply come to learn the time honored health promoting benifits of qigong.

This course is designed to introduce students to the study of proper Dao Yin training and rectifying qi deviations. Time is spent gaining a deeper understanding of the internal principles of postural, respiratory and mental Dao Yin training so that students develop a deeper comprehension of the body's energetic relationship to the physical structure as well as deviations of the psyche. Time will be spent discussing Qi Deviations, their development and how to rectify them.

Objectives:

Students will be able to:

  • Discuss the many qigong postures appropriate for Medical Qigong and clarify which posture is appropriate for certain conditions.
  • Demonstrate at least three forms of Qi Walking and discuss when each could be taught to a client
  • Demonstrate and discuss various forms of Postural Dao Yin Training, Respiratory Dao Yin Training and Mental Dao Yin Training.
  • Demonstrate and describe several methods of rectifying Qi Deviations

Prerequisite: Completion of all the Medical Qigong Practitioner Seminars
